Fiji Head Coach John McKee has announced his side for the opening match of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, naming a strong side that will look to go the full 80 minutes in a game that is sure to thrill the Twickenham crowd.

McKee stated that his team was out to have a real crack and he has picked the best side that he believes will defeat the Poms.

"We have an 80 minute focus and as long as the boys stick to the game plan I have no doubt we will come out on top", McKee said.

The named team is as follows:

1. Campese Ma'afu

2. Sunia Koto

3. Manasa Saulo

4. Apisalome Ratuniyarawa

5. Leone Nakarawa

6. Domiko Waqaniburotu

7. Akapusi Qera (captain)

8. Sakuisa Matadigo

9. Nikola Matawalu

10. Ben Volavola

11. Nemani Nadolo

12. Gabriele Lolobalavu

13. Vereniki Goneva

14. Waisea Nayacalevu

15. Metuisela Talebula

Reserves

16. Tupati Talemaitoga

17. Peni Ravai

18. Isei Colati

19. Tevita Cavubati

20. Peceli Yato

21. Nemia Kenatale

22. Joshua Matavesi

23. Aseli Tikoirotuma

There is major excitement around the team and they are showing great energy.

However, for most of players named, it will be the first time they step out into Twickenham and that can bring a lot of nerves into the game. But Captain Akapusi Qera talked of his experience and declared that "making sure the focus and energy of the day is in place in a good way - that is our main goal".

England have picked out Nikola Matawalu along with Nemani Nadolo and Leone Nakarawa as major threats. Leone Nakarawa is an absolute star and he mentioned that for him and the team, "all the focus goes into the team plan and set piece".

He is sure to be a major factor in this Friday's game.

The team will be having a light session this afternoon (Thursday, Fiji time) at the London Irish in Hazelwood. There will be a final captains there run tomorrow. But the good news is that John McKee has confirmed that his team is out to win and that all of Fiji should be excited.

Go Fiji!
