FIJI'S FINAL TRAINING RUN

Fiji arrived at Twickenham Stadium for the final team training run before the big encounter taking place in the first match of the 2015 RWC.

The team was poised and calm, but showed great excitement when they stepped out onto the pitch for their run - a traditional start to training first up was a game of touch rugby followed by the huddle and prayer in the centre of the ground.

The run finally got underway with the the first string side taking the field and going through set pieces and phases up against the non selected players.

Fiji always seems to take a casual approach to the training runs, but watching Nemani Nadolo, Nikola Matawalu and Vereniki Goneva show great skill proved that the team was well prepared and their confidence filtered through the team.

Fiji has been written off by most observers for their first outing against England, but John McKee is adamant that his team must not be taken lightly stating that the team is ready and willing to go and that England will not be underestimating the Fijians.

John McKee, Akapusi Qera and Sunia Koto fronted the media after the training run.

John was asked whether he had taken into account the 5-day turn-around for their match against the Wallabies in Cardiff, and if the bench would come on early in the second half to ensure players are fresh.

McKee responded, stating " It is all about Friday and what we do on Friday is the only thing we need to worry about right now, but we have also planned for that"

England v Fiji will be in front of a packed stadium of 82,000 people - something the Fijian team has not played in front for quite sometime.

Will that factor come into play? Akapusi and Sunia assured us that Fiji is ready for anything.
